The olson Family invited us up to their cabin in Crivitz, Wisconsin for a day/night of family fun. There were 6 families up there total. 12 adults and 15 kids. We stopped at Burger King for a bite to eat and arrived at the cabin a little after lunch time. All the kids were anxious to hit the hill of terror. I have to be honest I was a little nervous about sending our kids down the hill because of some of the stories Jodee has told me. Good thing the weather was nice and warm, the hill wasn't as fast as we thought. The snow was packy and starting to melt ( a very wet and muddy day). As the day came to a close we sat outside by a fire, roasted marshmallows, cooked hot dogs and drank hot chocolate. Jodee took the kids on what seemed to be a never ending 4 wheeler ride with a trailer on the back with all the kids in the trailer. Megan loved riding on the 4 wheeler and never wanted to get off. Need I say more about Zach... Night came, and we were the only family that decided to stay the night. The kids watched a movie in a bedroom, while us adults talked, had some drinks and watched the movie Hangover(very funny, a must see). As a few more drinks went down, Jodee, Mark, Tom and I decided to run the hill via moonlight. Boy, as the weather got colder the run got faster. Talk about a rush going down the hill at 30 miles per hour in the dark on a plastic sled. We all were laughing our heads off. It was kinda stupid of us to put ourselves in danger, but it was so much fun. As it turned out, there were no accidents and us adults and all the kids had so much fun. A big Thank You goes out to the Olson family for a fun family weekend.
