Vegas

We're going to VEGAS BABY!!!!!!

On April 4th (Easter Sunday), we caught a 3:00pm Delta flight out of Green Bay. Our first destination was to Minneapolis. After a short layover we were already boarding our 5 pm departure flight to Vegas. It was approximatly a 3 hour flight from Minneapolis. We arrived in Las Vegas at 8 pm or 10pm our time. Vegas welcomed us for 3 nights and 4 days. Tom and I went into Vegas thinking one thing, and when we arrived.... it was completely different. We both felt very overwhelmed and there was SOOO much to do in the short 2 full days we were there. Don't get me wrong.... we both had a BLAST while we were there and it was nice for just the two of us to get away for a little bit. We got our feet wet of the Vegas life and we will definitely go back sometime in the future.

Faye, Angie and Myself on the plane ride there. We were so excited for that plane to land!

The boys.. Tom, Scott and Mike

Because we had 6 of us, and the cabs only held up to 5 people, we decided to take LIMOS instead of taking two cabs. Super fun getting around the city in a Limo!

A night view of the city

The Bellagio hotel which was across from Paris, had a water light show that was put to music day and night, and it would run every 15 minutes.

We stayed at the "Paris" hotel. The Eiffel Tower was outside the hotel. Three out of the 4 legs that held it up were inside the hotel casino.

We reserved tickets before going to Vegas to see the Blue Man Group. The show was at the Venetian hotel on Monday night at 7 p.m.

After the Blue Man Group was finished, we went ALL the way back to the hotel New York, New York. For those of you that have never been to Las Vegas...The Venetian is on one side of the strip and New York, New York is on the other side of the strip. But to party...Inside New York, New York they had the bar Coyote Ugly. Because we went Sunday - Wednesday, and most clubs in Vegas are open Thursday - Saturday, this bar seemed to be the place to go. It was pretty fun. Yes, the girls danced on the bar, but it was nothing like the movie. Even Angie and I got up there to dance a couple of times.

The "Old Strip" or also known as Fremont street. Even though we really didn't care for this Vegas atmosphere, the beer was cheaper, the slots seemed to pay out more and there was a little less walking on this strip.

Our hotel offered (for a fee of course) to bring you by elevator up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. We had a by one get one free coupon, so we thought it would be neat to see the city from the top at night. This picture is a view of the city from the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was a neat experience, but my fear of heights kinda kicked in on this adventure.
