Apple Picking

Yesterday, we went to pick apples at Hillside Orchard in Luxemburg/Casco. It was a cool/raining day and only 45 degrees. We lucked out, as we headed into the orchard, the sun came and it was pretty comfortable being out there.


Per one of the employees, the apples were about 2 weeks early this year. So as you can see.. most apples have fallen from the trees. We still did pretty good, we ended up coming home with 28LBs of Cortland and Mac apples.

She loved the idea of picking the apples from the tree and then getting to eat them right away. :)
