Our Garden

Tom and I have talked and talked about putting in a garden for the past couple of years. Well.... this past weekend our project started with a trip to Home Depot to get some supplies. We're all very excited to see how it turns out.

Little Megan even got to plant something... She is planting Cucumbers!

Madison was the inspiration for this whole project. She wanted Sugar Snap Peas, and Strawberries in her garden.

A picture of the finished garden... After it's all said and done, Tom and I are sitting back and just laughing. The garden is 4'x 10' and has enough crops in it to cover an acre. It may overtake our whole backyard once it starts growing. The kids were really excited about picking their own seeds out at the store, so we had a little trouble saying "No". Oh well, this is our first time planting a garden and all that matters is that we had fun doing it, right? SO..... wish us luck and bring on the sprouts!!
